Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Security Specialist to strengthen its security posture. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, Security Champions and CISOs to embed security throughout development.

You’ll review designs, model threats, implement controls in CI/CD, and advise on secure lifecycles while building internal tools and training. In this role you’ll be a trusted advisor, hands-on engineer and connector across teams, working in a collaborative, agile environment with hybrid working

Qualifications

• Diploma in an IT-related field.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
• Strong knowledge of secure software development, threat modeling and cloud security (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, security automation and tooling (SAST, DAST, SIEM).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with security design, architecture reviews or platforms like Cloud Foundry, PEGA or BI tooling is a plus.
• Proactive, structured, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum.
• Bonus: Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a Plus).

Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth reviews of security documentation, architecture and designs.
• Facilitating threat modeling and security risk assessments.
• Embedding security controls and best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Advising on secure design, implementation and application lifecycle management.
• Co-developing internal security tools, services and automation.
• Creating tailored security training materials for different teams and roles.
• Improving visibility through metrics, dashboards and storytelling.
• Actively engaging in chapters, guilds and Agile ceremonies.
