Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Security Specialist to strengthen its security posture within a hybrid work setup in Utrecht. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, Security Champions, and CISO colleagues to embed security in every development stage.

The role requires deep security expertise, strong communication, and hands-on engineering capabilities to deliver secure solutions at scale. English fluency is essential, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of secure software development, threat modeling and cloud security (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with security design, architecture reviews or platforms like Cloud Foundry, PEGA or BI tooling is a plus.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a Plus).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth reviews of security documentation, architecture and designs.
• Facilitate threat modeling and security risk assessments.
• Embed security controls and best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Advise on secure design, implementation and application lifecycle management.
• Co-develop internal security tools, services and automation.
• Create tailored security training materials for different teams and roles.
• Improve visibility through metrics, dashboards and storytelling.
