Job summary

Leiden University in the Netherlands is seeking a proactive Research Project Manager to lead complex research and valorisation projects within the Luris pool. You will support researchers across project lifecycles, and help acquire new projects while promoting the university's research management network.

You will coordinate multiple stakeholders, monitor budgets, ensure compliance with funding bodies, and draft contractual documentation while maintaining strong relationships with partners and

Qualifications

• Master's degree or comparable experience in a relevant field.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage research projects within the Luris pool.
• Coordinate execution of research and valorisation projects with Principal Investigator/Project Lead.
• Monitor progress and budget, ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements.
• Assist with contractual documentation, change requests, amendments and agreements.
• Maintain relationships with consortium partners, funders and other stakeholders.
• Support development of acquisition strategies for new projects and outreach.

Education

Master, or comparable experience

Excellent command of Dutch and English
