Job summary

Ebury in Amsterdam is seeking a Client Portfolio Manager to manage a portfolio of corporate clients, handling trading account setup, relationship management and deal execution.

You will deliver bespoke FX strategies, collaborate with a large sales team to originate new business, and upsell Ebury’s product suite while maintaining strong client relationships. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with the role based in Amsterdam in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Services experience in a sales or relationship management role.
• Experience of working in an established FX institution and/or commercial bank, or selling other financial instruments to SMEs and corporate clients.
• Solid understanding of relevant compliance requirements.
• Academic background in Business or Finance is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to win commitment and buy-in.
• Proven record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling, new client acquisition).
• Fluency in Dutch and strong business-level English.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, executing a range of different products, including FX hedging, supplier payments financing, payments and cash management.
• Collaborate with a large, successful sales team to assist in business origination.
• Understand clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation using Ebury's large product suite.
• Know and understand the competition's capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury’s Banking solutions.
• Deliver on KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, upselling cross-selling multiple relevant products and increasing wallet-share.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships through client meetings, confidently and professionally presenting ideas, proposals, and updates to clients.
• Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers.
• Originate new business via networking with existing clients for business referrals.
