Job summary

Spektrum is recruiting a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a NATO C2 Service Centre team in The Hague, Netherlands, working on mission-critical software in a SCRUM environment.

You will develop and maintain full stack applications using Angular on the front end and Spring/Java on the back end, write automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role requires a degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years total software development experience.
• 2+ years Front-end: Angular v10+, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript.
• 2+ years Back-end: Spring v5+, Java 5+, Spring Boot.
• Automated testing experience (JUnit or equivalent).
• Git, Maven, Jenkins, XML, JSON.
• TCP/UDP/IP networking fundamentals, SSH/terminal proficiency.
• SQL and NoSQL database experience.
• Linux environment experience (RHEL/Oracle Linux).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full stack applications across Front-end (Angular) and Back-end (Spring/Java) with equal proficiency.
• Write automated tests (unit, component, functional, integration).
• Collaborate with Project Manager / Product Owner / Service Delivery Manager on delivery priorities.
• Operate within a Linux server environment.
