Job summary

The NCI Agency in The Hague, Netherlands, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a dedicated team. You will develop, operate and maintain NATO software applications, contributing across front-end and back-end layers using Angular and Spring in a SCRUM environment.

The contractor will work on-site at least three days per week, with an approximate 38-hour work week and potential contract extensions based on performance. A NATO SECRET clearance and fluency in English are required.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field with at least 3 years of software development experience.
• Proven front-end experience with Angular (v10+) and HTML/CSS/TypeScript.
• Proven back-end experience with Spring (v5+) and Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience writing automated tests (JUnit/Functional/Integration).
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, Git, Maven and Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate and maintain NATO software applications in a full stack role.
• Work in a SCRUM team using Jira, Jenkins and Maven for lifecycle management.
• Contribute from office at least three days per week in The Hague, NL.
• Engage in both front-end and back-end tasks with high professionalism.
• Collaborate in an international team and communicate in English.
