Job summary

Rambus is seeking an exceptional HW/SW Engineer to join the Design Automation team. You will develop front end design automation flows and support a global Digital IP development group.

This full-time role reports to the Design Automation Manager and embraces a hybrid work model with three days onsite per week and two remote days. Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree strongly preferred; substantial, relevant work experience may substitute
• 5-10 years of experience as HW/SW engineer or related field
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog
• Proficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and Bash
• Understanding of CDC and RDC concepts
• Experience creating automation for front end design EDA tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis and package generation
• Work closely with Design Automation, Verification and Development teams to solve problems and build solutions
• Provide support to our global engineering organization
