Job summary

Rambus is seeking a HW/SW Engineer to join the Design Automation team in Hillsboro, OR. In this full-time role, you will develop front end design automation flows and support a global DigitalIP development team, reporting to the Design Automation Manager.

The role emphasizes building and supporting world-class tools and automation, with a hybrid work environment allowing three onsite days per week and two remote days.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree strongly preferred; but substantial, relevant work experience may substitute
• 5-10 years of experience working as a HW/SW engineer or related field
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog
• Proficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and Bash
• Understanding of CDC and RDC concepts
• Experience creating automation for front end design EDA tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis and package generation
• Work closely with members of the Design Automation, Verification and Development teams to collaboratively solve problems and build solutions
• Provide support to our global engineering organization
