Job summary

Booking.com is seeking a sharp, energetic Technical Program Manager for its FinTech unit in Amsterdam. You will lead large cross-organizational software initiatives at the intersection of e-commerce and payments, delivering scalable, secure financial services with a strong customer focus.

The role requires ~5+ years in technical program management, solid tech fluency, and knowledge of payments. You will collaborate across Booking to drive outcomes using agile practices and effective stakeholder

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in technical program management.
• Strong understanding of technology and ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Basic understanding of payments/FinTech products and domain requirements.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Data-driven insights to address business challenges and drive delivery outcomes.
• Experience visualising risks, issues & dependencies to enable delivery success.
• Experience aligning cross-organization priorities to deliver program outcomes.
• Experience with agile practices and tooling to support delivery.

Responsibilities

• Interact with sponsors and stakeholders to define and deliver projects.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, balance business needs with technical constraints.
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
• Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
• Communicate project status in a concise, professional manner.
• Understand architectural and technical aspects of projects and apply best SDLC practices.
• Build and maintain integrated schedules considering dependencies and different SDLC approaches.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, flexible solutions with strong customer focus.
