Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development, machine vision, or industrial automation environments.
• Strong experience with Embedded Linux and ARM-based platforms.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python software development.
• Experience integrating industrial cameras, image acquisition systems, and vision hardware.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern software development methodologies.
• Experience deploying or supporting AI inference frameworks, preferably Triton Inference Server.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Vision System Development & Architecture: Architect, develop, and maintain embedded vision systems on Linux-based ARM platforms.
• Design scalable and reliable vision system architectures for next‑gen poultry processing equipment.
• Integrate cameras, sensors, and illumination for high‑speed image acquisition and analysis.
• Optimize performance for real-time processing and throughput in industrial environments.
• Support standardization and future-proofing across product lines.
• Software Engineering & AI Deployment: Develop and optimize C++/Python components for image processing, machine control, and data handling.
• Build containerized vision applications using Docker for scalable deployment and reproducible environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software delivery.
• Deploy AI inference workloads using Triton Inference Server for real-time decisions on embedded hardware.
• Vision Technology Integration & Validation: Work with project managers, vision application engineers, system architects, electrical engineers, and software engineers.
• Collaborate with mechanical/electrical/product teams to integrate vision systems into complete machines.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues across hardware, software, networking, and camera interfaces.
• Define validation strategies and execute system testing to ensure quality and performance.
• Technical Leadership & Innovation: Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and shape technology roadmap.
• Communicate with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify emerging technologies in embedded computing, AI, and machine vision.
