Job summary

DVJ Insights in the Netherlands is seeking a Data Platform & AI Engineer to join The LAB and strengthen our data, technology and analytics capabilities. You will work at the intersection of data engineering, platform operations, automation and AI-enabled analytics to maintain, improve and scale important data platforms.

You will develop and optimize data pipelines, oversee Spenderlog, monitor data quality, and contribute to AI-driven automation and smarter insights, while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering experience with Python, SQL and data pipelines.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or willingness to become an expert.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proactive mindset and ownership of operational challenges.
• Interest in data quality, automation and platform reliability.
• Experience with ML/AI analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, data models, and platform integrations.
• Operate, support and improve Spenderlog and related platforms.
• Monitor data quality and platform performance; coordinate solutions with stakeholders.
• Support and enhance ML/AI-enabled solutions for automation and insights.
• Contribute ideas for platform improvements and future AI applications.
• Collaborate with consultants, researchers and partners to translate needs into solutions.
• Strengthen documentation and knowledge sharing for scalable, maintainable systems.
