Job summary

ATC, part of the Arvato Group, seeks a proactive Team Lead to support the Planning Team that manages transport planning for hyperscale data centre clients across Europe, the UK and Ireland. The role reports to the Planning Manager and requires strong organisation, communication and decision-making under pressure.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will lead daily activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high standards of customer service, planning accuracy and service delivery

Qualifications

• Substantial transport planning experience, 3+ years in logistics.
• Experience in high-service/white-glove operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisational skills and multitasking.
• Proficient with IT, including Microsoft Office 365.
• Understanding of EU Working Time Directive and tachograph rules is beneficial.
• Proactive in problem solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily planning team activities to meet service and performance targets.
• Oversee internal truck fleet planning and utilization.
• Provide regular updates on team performance and risks.
• Monitor shipments and manage customer communications.
• Lead daily operational calls and coordinate actions.
• Support rota planning, holiday approvals and workload.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, offices, and customers.
• Coach team members through performance reviews.
• Support audits, SOPs, and process improvements.
• Liaise with Finance for billing and quotes.
• Complete payroll reporting and admin tasks.
