Job summary

ATC (part of Arvato) invites applications for a Team Lead to support the daily leadership of the Control Tower Planning Team, managing transport planning for hyperscale data centre clients across Europe, the UK and Ireland.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will guide the planning team, oversee truck fleet planning, monitor performance KPIs, and drive continuous improvements while delivering high service standards.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in transport planning or logistics
• Experience leading a planning team or similar supervisory role
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and partners
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with KPI tracking and service level reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities of the Planning Team to meet service and performance targets
• Oversee internal truck fleet planning and utilisation targets
• Provide regular updates on team performance, planning activity and risks
• Manage shipment monitoring and customer communications with timely updates
• Lead daily operational calls and coordinate resource planning and holidays
• Coordinate with subcontractors, overseas offices and customer teams to meet schedules and service levels
• Coach and develop team members through performance reviews and training needs
• Support audits, SOP reviews and process improvements across planning functions
• Collaborate with Finance for billing, quotes and financial administration
