Job summary

Stryker seeks a motivated Compliance Intern to join the HR Operations team in the Netherlands. You will support compliance, internal controls, documentation reviews and process improvements across EMEA, gaining hands-on experience in SOX, risk management, and audits within a global healthcare company.

This six-month internship requires EU working rights, fluent English, and current study in a related field.

Qualifications

• EU working rights are required.
• Available for a 6‑month internship.
• Fluent in English.
• Basic skills in data analysis, process mapping and documentation.
• Interest in HR Operations including Payroll and Workforce Management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day compliance and internal control activities within HR Operations under supervision.
• Collect, organize and review information and records for compliance, SOX, and audit activities.
• Assist with control testing and audit requests by gathering evidence and documenting results.
• Identify potential control gaps or risks and track corrective actions.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process guides, and control documentation.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Tax, Legal and Workforce Management to gather information.
• Prepare basic reports and presentations; participate in team meetings.
• Support other HR Operations projects and ad hoc assignments.
