Job summary

Danone is seeking a Commodity Market Analyst – Plastics, Diesel, Gas & Power to join the Global Market Intelligence team in the Netherlands. You will monitor global markets, build price forecasts, and support risk management and procurement decisions through robust analysis.

You will develop dashboards and models using Power BI and Excel, partnering with Finance, Procurement, and Controlling, while leveraging an international environment and a hybrid work setup across Hoofddorp, Utrecht, and

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an interest in commodity price formation and market dynamics.
Experience with data analysis or visualization tools such as Power BI; Copilot Studio is a plus.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct fundamental analysis of Plastics, Diesel, Gas & Power markets and monitor related macro trends.
Develop commodity price forecasts to support rolling forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
Collaborate with Risk Managers and Buyers to support market risk management and procurement strategies.
Engage with Procurement, Finance, and Controlling teams to communicate market developments and insights.
Develop and improve market intelligence dashboards and decision-support tools using Power BI and Excel.
