Job summary

Danone seeks a Commodity Market Analyst – Plastics, Diesel, Gas & Power to join Global Market Intelligence in the Netherlands. You will monitor markets, develop forecasts, and support risk management across Finance and Procurement.

You’ll translate complex market dynamics into actionable insights and contribute to dashboards, scenarios, and decision-support tools within a collaborative, international team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in commodity market analysis or procurement.
• Fluent in English; able to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental analysis of Plastics, Diesel, Gas & Power markets, including supply/demand and regulation.
• Develop price forecasts to support Rolling Forecast, Budget and Strategic Plan.
• Collaborate with Risk Managers and Buyers on market risk and pricing trends.
• Engage with Procurement, Finance and Controlling to translate market insights into actions.
• Develop dashboards and models using Power BI and Excel to improve forecasting.
