Job summary

Wellis is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support the people & culture team in building a strong, healthy organisation within a fast-growing healthtech scale-up. You will help with recruitment research, onboarding, HR policies, engagement, internal communications, and events, while learning how people operations work in a modern startup and contributing to a collaborative, international culture.

  • Studying HR, organizational psychology, business, or similar.
  • Interested in people, culture, and organisations.
  • Discrete, empathetic, and well-organised.
  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting recruitment, recruitment research and employer branding activities.
  • Improving onboarding and off-boarding materials.
  • Helping document HR processes and policies.
  • Supporting engagement, culture, and feedback initiatives.
  • Assisting with internal communications and surveys.
  • Researching best practices in people & culture.
  • Support events and culture initiatives that make Wellis a great place to work.
  • Support in daily office operations making sure all teams have everything they need to perform.

Introduction

Our internships are designed for curious, motivated students who want to learn by doing in a real startup environment. You’ll work closely with experienced team members, take ownership of meaningful projects, and contribute to areas that are important for the company but often get too little attention in busy teams.

About the role

As a Human Resources Intern, you’ll support our people & culture team in building a strong, healthy organisation. You’ll work on initiatives that shape employee experience, culture, and internal structure, many of which are incredibly impactful, but often sit on the ‘nice-to-have’ list in fast-growing companies.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting recruitment, recruitment research and employer branding activities;

  • Studying HR, organisational psychology, business, or similar;

  • Available for minimum 4 months;
