Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking an HR Operations Specialist in Amsterdam to join the People & Culture team. You will manage onboarding to offboarding, maintain HR records in Workday, and support payroll for Belgium & Luxembourg while improving processes and service delivery.

The role requires experience in HR operations, knowledge of BeNeLux employment laws, and strong data accuracy. Candidates should be fluent in Dutch and English with an international mindset. Hybrid work in Amsterdam is offered.

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a small but highly impactful BeNeLux HR Operations team. Working closely with your Team Lead and partnering across HR and the business, you will help ensure operational excellence while contributing to the evolution of our HR services, processes, and employee experience.

What you'll be doing

• Managing employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through offboarding
• Maintaining employee data and HR documentation in Workday and related systems
• Supporting payroll activities for Belgium and Luxembourg
• Handling employee and manager requests through ServiceNow and other HR platforms
• Ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and smooth HR operations
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, and employee experience
• Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, external providers, and business stakeholders across the region

You likely bring:

• Experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, Shared Services, or Employee Services
• Knowledge of employment legislation in at least one BeNeLux country
• A passion for accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement
• Confidence working with HR systems (we work with Workday), employee data, and operational processes
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Professional Dutch and English language skills
• A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in an international environment
