Job summary

Mediterena B.V. is seeking an HR Officer to support a broad range of HR activities across the organisation in Volendam. You will ensure personnel administration is accurate, support recruitment and onboarding, and contribute to a positive employee experience.

As primary contact for HR questions, you will coordinate temporary staffing, manage contracts and records, handle onboarding/offboarding, payroll collaboration, and stay compliant with Dutch labor laws.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR administration/support roles.
• Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for HR-related matters within the organisation.
• Manage and maintain personnel administration, contracts, and employee records.
• Handle onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth experience.
• Support recruitment activities including vacancy management and interviews.
• Coordinate deployment of temporary workers.
• Review and process worked hours for employees and temps.
• Support payroll administration and collaborate with external providers.
• Maintain absence records and manage sick leave processes.
• Advise managers and employees on HR-related questions.
• Monitor HR processes for legal compliance and policy adherence.
• Contribute to HR policy development and process improvements.
