Job summary

ASML in the Netherlands is seeking a Medior HR Data Analyst to translate complex people data into actionable insights that support HR and business leaders in navigating an evolving landscape. You will collaborate with IT and HR to turn questions into robust analytics and reporting.

The role includes data preparation, data engineering, and maintaining dashboards across systems, plus acting as SME for HR data integrations toward the corporate data warehouse (HANA Cloud), including CSRD reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of work experience.
  • Experience with Excel and/or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with HR reporting & analytics; Workday or Visier a plus.
  • Experience in a complex, international environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding business questions and translating them into reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Compiling data from multiple platforms and systems.
  • Data preparation and data engineering.
  • Analyzing HR data and helping management make decisions based on this data.
  • Maintaining, enhancing, and expanding existing reports and dashboards in cooperation with IT and HR line.
  • Subject Matter Expert for HR data integrations toward our corporate data warehouse (HANA Cloud), bridging functional and IT requirements.
  • Responsible for statutory CSRD reporting for employee-related metrics.

Therefore, we are expanding our team and are looking for an energetic and hands-on Medior HR Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in translating complex people data into actionable insights that enhance organizational effectiveness and support our HR and business leaders in navigating this evolving landscape.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Understanding business questions and challenges and translating them into reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Compiling data from multiple platforms and systems.
  • Data preparation and data engineering.
  • Analyzing HR data and helping management make decisions based on this data.
  • Maintaining, enhancing, and expanding existing reports and dashboards in cooperation with IT and HR line.
  • Subject Matter Expert for HR data integrations towards our corporate data warehouse (HANA Cloud), acting as the bridge between functional and IT requirements.
  • Responsible for statutory (i.e. CSRD) reporting for employee related metrics.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of work experience.
  • Experience with Excel and/or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with (HR) Reporting & Analytics, experience with Workday or Visier is a plus.
  • Experience in a complex, international environment is a plus.
Skills
  • IT & data savvy with proven track record to quickly learn and adapt to new IT skills.
  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and subject matter experts to drive results whilst working through uncertainty.
  • Conceptual and creative thinking with the ability to break down complex ideas into practical steps that deliver value and generate impact over time.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver findings clearly and persuasively to senior business and HR leadership.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy protection laws and AI regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) and the ability to translate these implications into our People Analytics roadmap.
  • Alignment with ASML's core values: care, collaborate, and challenge, demonstrating a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • A collaborative team player who effectively engages and manages stakeholders and colleagues while taking a hands-on approach and demonstrating ownership and accountability.
