ASML’s IT R&D AI Enablement Team invites master's students to join a non-thesis internship for a minimum of 6 months, with at least four days per week (three on-site). You will help assess the business value of AI initiatives and support strategic decision-making in a high-tech environment.
You will maintain an overview of AI use cases, analyze value and feasibility, develop frameworks linking use cases to outcomes, and prepare governance insights for decision-making.
The IT R&D AI Enablement Team supports ASML's journey to become an AI-native organization. The team enables responsible AI adoption across Research & Development by helping teams identify, prioritize, and scale impactful AI solutions. In this internship, you will help assess the business value of AI initiatives and support strategic decision-making. Your work will contribute directly to how AI is applied to accelerate innovation within ASML. As part of the AI Enablement Team, you will help create transparency around AI initiatives and their business impact. You will collaborate with engineers, project owners, and business stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and support AI governance activities. Through this internship, you will gain experience in business intelligence, AI value assessment, and strategic decision-making in a high-tech environment.
This is a master's non-thesis internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of February 2027, but an earlier start date is also possible.
During this internship, you will work on one of ASML’s strategic priorities: accelerating AI adoption across R&D. You will gain hands-on experience in AI value assessment, reporting, and stakeholder management while collaborating with professionals from multiple disciplines.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
