Job summary

Marktlink is seeking an HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership teams across multiple European units. You will connect the business with HR strategies, turning plans into practical actions, from performance cycles to complex absence cases and forecasting future people needs.

You will partner with the ML Academy and Recruitment to support development, learning initiatives, and hiring plans, helping ensure a strong culture as the company grows internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as HR Business Partner.
• Fluent in Dutch & English.
• Comfortable working between day-to-day HR support and strategic advisory.
• Analytical thinking with organizational sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted HR advisor and coach to managers and leadership teams.
• Advise on performance, absence, return-to-work, conflicts and team dynamics.
• Prepare and guide managers through performance review cycles with data.
• Forecast hiring needs 6–12 months ahead and work with Recruiters on recruitment pipelines.
• Collaborate with ML Academy on development plans and training follow-up.
• Support culture as Marktlink grows internationally.
• Translate HR initiatives into practical actions within the business.
• Gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve HR policies and processes.

Marktlink is growing rapidly across Europe. Your role is to help make sure that growth works for our people as well as our business. You connect the dots between managers, employees, Recruitment, HR Operations and the ML Academy, while continuously looking for ways to improve how we work.

Your Responsibilities

• In this role you will be working from our office in Deventer. Locations you will be responsible for are: Deventer, Doetinchem, Leek, Hengelo, Den Bosch & Maastricht.
• You will act as a trusted HR advisor and coach to managers and leadership teams across your business units;
• Advise managers on performance, absence, return-to-work, conflicts, team dynamics and other complex people situations;
• Prepare and guide managers through performance review cycles, from timelines and data to the conversations themselves;
• Analyse performance, turnover and absence trends and translate data into clear recommendations and actions;
• Forecast hiring needs 6–12 months ahead and work closely with Recruiters to turn growth plans into concrete recruitment pipelines;
• Partner with ML Academy on individual development plans, learning initiatives and mandatory training follow-up;
• Support managers in maintaining a strong and consistent culture as Marktlink continues to grow internationally;
• Translate company-wide HR initiatives, such as EVP, compensation and culture programs, into practical actions within the business;
• Collect feedback from managers and teams and identify opportunities to improve HR policies, processes and ways of working.

Your profile

• You have between 3-5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within professional services or a fast-growing organisation;
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field;
• You are comfortable operating between day-to-day HR support and longer-term strategic advice;
• You combine analytical thinking with strong organisational sensitivity: you understand both the numbers and the people behind them;
• You are confident advising managers and leadership teams, including when conversations are complex;
• You are comfortable working with HR technology such as Personio;
• You are fluent in Dutch & English;
• You enjoy working in an international, entrepreneurial environment where things move quickly and not everything is already figured out.
