Corendon Hotels & Resorts in Badhoevedorp is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Residence Inn by Marriott. You will oversee daily housekeeping operations, lead a team, and ensure Marriott standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and lead the team to ensure smooth guest room and public area cleaning.
• Maintain Marriott standards of cleanliness and quality, while managing materials and inventory.
• Train, guide and coach team members to uphold high standards of service.
• Coordinate administrative tasks such as usage reports, maintenance requests, and time tracking.

We are looking for you to join us as our new Housekeeping Supervisor at the Residence inn by Marriott hotel.

Since December 2023, Corendon Village Hotel is proudly part of the Marriott franchise, welcoming guests from all over the world according to international Marriott standards.

Our hotel in Badhoevedorp consists of three wings: Plaza, Apartments & Urban, with a total of 680 rooms, suites, and apartments. You’ll also find several restaurants, bars, a spa, swimming pool, cinema, and eleven multifunctional meeting rooms.

You’ll be working for Residence Inn by Marriott, located within the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel.

As part of the Housekeeping team, you deliver the warm, personal and thoughtful service that Residence Inn is known for, worldwide.

What does the job entail?

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, your main goal is to ensure guest satisfaction by overseeing and managing the daily operations within the housekeeping department. You lead by example motivating and encouraging your team while maintaining open, honest, and respectful communication. You foster a positive team spirit and create an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

You ensure the correct and safe use of cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies to guarantee efficient and cost-effective operations, contributing directly to the hotel’s overall performance.

Your primary responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, managing daily housekeeping tasks, and ensuring all areas meet Marriott’s high cleanliness and quality standards. You will also oversee the supply and inventory of materials, handle administrative tasks such as usage reports, maintenance requests, and time tracking, and drive continuous improvement within your department.

A key part of your role is to train, guide, and coach your team members ensuring that high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency are consistently achieved. You set the tone for excellence and make sure every guest enjoys a spotless and welcoming environment.

Flexibility is important in this role, as our Housekeeping Supervisors work in both morning and evening shifts.
