Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Relevant work experience in hospitality or Front Office.
• Enthusiastic attitude and event organization.

• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Experience with opera is a preference

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage Front Office Hosts.
• Supervise Hosts and interns and oversee check-in/check-out.
• Provide tourist information and handle guest questions/requests.
• Manage messages, telephone operations and front desk administration.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement proposals within the Front Office team.
• Oversee registration, invoicing and general administration.

You’ll be working for Residence Inn by Marriott, located within the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. As part of the Front Office team, you deliver the warm, personal and thoughtful service that Residence Inn is known for worldwide.

What does the job entail?

As our Front Office Supervisor you are the face of the hotel and you provide a warm welcome and manage the Front Office Hosts. The supervisor manages the Hosts and interns. In this position you are also responsible for checking in and out of guests and provide service during the entire stay. This includes providing tourist information, handling all questions and complaints from guests, taking and passing on messages, but also activities such as operating the telephone exchange and maintaining administration. You also take care of sales activities and ensure the presentation of the working environment. You actively contribute to improvement proposals within the Front Office Team. You are also responsible for registration, invoicing and administration.
