Job summary

EW Facility Services zoekt een Housekeeping Supervisor voor Zoku Amsterdam. U coördineert dagelijks de housekeeping-activiteiten en ondersteunt het team bij het waarborgen van schone, op tijd gereed zijnde kamers.

U bent ervaren in housekeeping, maakt deel uit van een hotelomgeving en communiceert duidelijk met het team. Werktijden zijn 33–38 uur per week over 5 dagen, met minimaal twee weekenden per maand; 8-maanden contract met mogelijke vaste aanstelling.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in housekeeping, bij voorkeur in een hotel.
• Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en teamondersteuning.
• Vriendelijk, georganiseerd en communicatief vaardig.
• Oog voor details en kwaliteitsgericht.
• Comfortabel werken in een drukke hotelomgeving.
• Beschikbaar voor 33–38 uur per week en minstens 2 weekenden per maand.
• Engels spreken; Nederlands is niet vereist.
• Wonen in of nabij Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Coördineren van de dagelijkse housekeeping-activiteiten.
• Verdelen van het werk en controleren of kamers en publieke ruimten aan de kwaliteitsnormen voldoen.
• Kamermeisjes tijdens hun dienst ondersteunen, vragen beantwoorden en helpen waar nodig.

Wij bieden

• Gross hourly salary from €16.70, depending on your work experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre from 20 km per day
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% holiday hours accrual and 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment, plus an extra day off on your birthday
• An 8-month contract with a 1-month probation period, with the possibility of a permanent contract

Jouw baan

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Zoku Amsterdam, you make sure the housekeeping team can do their best work every day by:

• Coordinating the daily housekeeping activities,
• dividing the work and check that rooms and public areas meet our quality standards.
• Supporting the Room Attendants during their shift, answer questions and help when needed.

You are also the person the team can come to when something is not going according to plan. Together, you make sure the rooms are clean, ready on time and welcoming for every guest.

Work Schedule:

• 33–38 hours per week, spread over 5 days.
• Usual working hours are from 09:00 to 17:00.
• At least 2 weekends per month.

• Experienced in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel
• Ready to take responsibility and support a team
• Friendly, organised and clear in your communication
• Someone who notices details and cares about quality
• Comfortable working in a busy hotel environment
• Available for 33–38 hours per week, from 9AM & at least 2 weekends per month
• English speaking; Dutch is not required
• Living in or close to Amsterdam
