Job summary

EW Facility Services zoekt een Housekeeping Supervisor in Amsterdam om het housekeeping-team aan te sturen en ervoor te zorgen dat kamers en publieke ruimten aan de hoogste normen voldoen. Je werkt samen met collega’s en rapporteert aan de hotelmanager.

De functie vereist ervaring in housekeeping, beschikbaarheid tussen 10:00 en 18:00 en in het weekend, en Engels spreken. Locatie direct tegenover Amsterdam Centraal Station biedt gemakkelijke bereikbaarheid en kansen voor ontwikkeling binnen EW

Qualifications

• Ervaring in housekeeping of professionele reiniging
• Beschikbaar tussen 10:00 en 18:00 en in het weekend beschikbaar
• Spreekt Engels
• Gevestigd in Amsterdam of omgeving
• Georganiseerd, betrouwbaar en kwaliteitsgericht

Responsibilities

• Coördineren en superviseren van de dagelijkse housekeeping-activiteiten
• Controleren van kamers en publieke ruimtes
• Taakverdeling en toezicht op de planning
• Coachen en motiveren van housekeeping-medewerkers
• Zorgen voor naleving van kwaliteit- en hygiëne-standaarden
• Doorgeven van technische defecten en bijzondere omstandigheden
• Samenwerken met het hotel en jouw manager

Job description

Wij bieden

• A gross hourly wage between €16.70 and €18.44, depending on your experience*
• A contract for 30 to 35 hours per week
• Salary paid every four weeks, meaning 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance from 20 kilometres per day at €0.14 per kilometre
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% accrual of holiday hours and a 5% year-end bonus
• An extra day off on your birthday
• A workplace directly opposite Amsterdam Central Station

Jouw baan

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you make sure that the hotel rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards. You supervise the housekeeping team and work alongside your colleagues when necessary.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and supervising the daily housekeeping activities
• Checking hotel rooms and public areas
• Dividing tasks and monitoring the daily planning
• Coaching and motivating housekeeping employees
• Ensuring that quality and hygiene standards are followed
• Reporting technical defects and special circumstances
• Working together with the hotel and your manager

You work between 10:00 and 18:00. The hotel is open seven days a week, so you must be available on different days, including weekends.
