Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in The Netherlands seeks a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to lead a team of room attendants and uphold cleanliness and service standards across the property.

You will coordinate daily briefings, assign tasks, monitor room quality, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts, while maintaining guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a housekeeping team in a hotel.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and days.

As a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor (f/m/d) you are responsible for supervising a team of room attendants and ensuring that the quality of the hotel is maintained and enhanced according to hotel policies, industry regulations, and hygiene standards.

Your Role at a Glance

06:45After a cup of coffee or tea, you are ready to start your day at the Housekeeping Department.
07:00You prepare the room lists for the Room Attendants, so they know what needs to be done.
08:00The first Room Attendants arrive and once the team is complete you do the briefing including all details of the day. Once everyone is good to go, you walk around the hotel to check if there are any other details that need to be taken care of, and to keep an eye on your team.
10:00Time for a short break with the team.
11:00Whilst checking the rooms, you also brief some Room Attendants with some last-minute changes regarding the rooms to be cleaned. One room wants an extra bed, another room stays a day longer, and a third room wants extra towels.
12:00Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
12:30Still some rooms are pending to be checked and to see if they meet the quality standards we set.
14:30You make sure everything is done and prepare the handover for the evening shift.
15:00Time to go home!
