Hotel Not Hotel in Rotterdam is seeking a Hotel Manager to oversee operations at our Rotterdam base while collaborating closely with the team in Amsterdam. You’ll regularly be in Amsterdam and stay in contact with the two-property team.

All-round, hands-on leadership is expected, with direct responsibility for guest experience, staff on-floor performance, and MEWS-based scheduling. You live near Rotterdam and can travel to Amsterdam as needed.

Formación

• Experience leading a team on the floor in a hotel or guest-facing setting.
• Energetic, positive and proactive approach.
• Willingness to travel between Rotterdam and Amsterdam as required.

Responsabilidades

• You are the on-floor point of contact for guests, hosts and housekeeping.
• Onboard new hosts and coach the team during shifts.
• Ensure the hotel is ready at 15:00 as if opening night.
• Solve problems before guests notice them.
• Create schedules and plan the day in MEWS.

Hotel Not Hotel is looking for a Hotel Manager. Your base is our hotel in Rotterdam, but you work for both hotels. You’ll regularly be in Amsterdam and stay in close contact with the team there. We decide the split together, depending on what’s needed.

What you’ll do

All-round and truly hands-on. No two days are the same.

• You’re the point of contact on the floor for guests, hosts and housekeeping
• You onboard new hosts and coach the team during shifts
• You make sure the hotel is ready at 15:0° as if it’s the grand opening
• You solve problems before a guest notices them
• You create schedules and plan the day in MEWS

What you bring

• Experience leading a team on the floor, in a hotel or another guest-facing environment
• Energy, humor and a go-getter attitude
• You live in or around Rotterdam and can easily travel to Amsterdam
• Experience with MEWS is a plus
