Job summary

Staybridge Suites The Hague – Parliament is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep a safe, comfortable hotel environment. You will perform routine inspections, respond to maintenance requests, and support repairs across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

The role requires hands-on technical knowledge, teamwork, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Training and development opportunities are available within Borealis Hotel Group.

Qualifications

• Basic technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance).
• Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and situations.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving technical issues.
• Supporting repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Monitoring and maintaining technical systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Assisting external contractors when required.
