Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking an energetic Hotel General Manager to lead daily hotel operations in Breda, Netherlands. You will drive revenue, guest satisfaction and a culture where guests and team members love to be.

You’ll oversee budgets, staffing, guest relations and compliance while building partnerships in the local community. Fluent Dutch and English are required; weekends and on-call availability expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership, including 3+ years in a GM/Director role.
• Proven P&L ownership and revenue management experience.
• Fluent Dutch and English; strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and brand standards.
• Drive revenue strategy: pricing, occupancy, channel mix, and cost control.
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team; manage scheduling and development.
• Own guest relations, resolve escalations, monitor reviews, and act on feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and labour regulations.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, payroll, and vendor contracts.
• Maintain property condition, coordinating repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance.
• Represent the hotel in the local community and with owners/partners.

Salary: €6.500-€7.000 gross per month + company car

As General Manager, you'll be the heart of the hotel — leading daily operations, driving revenue and guest satisfaction, and building a culture where both guests and team members love to be.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and consistent brand standards
• Drive revenue strategy: pricing, occupancy, channel mix, and cost control to meet or exceed budget
• Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team; manage scheduling, performance, and development
• Own guest relations — resolve escalations personally, monitor reviews, and act on feedback
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and labour regulations
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, payroll, and vendor contracts
• Maintain the property's condition, coordinating repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance
• Represent the hotel in the local community and with owners/partners

Key requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive hotel leadership, including 3+ years as a General Manager, Assistant GM, or Director of Operations
• Proven P&L ownership
• Strong knowledge of PMS systems ([Opera, Mews, Cloudbeds, etc.]) and OTAs
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English;
• An energetic, hands-on leader with a commercial background — or a genuine networker who can plug into the local community and build partnerships that fill rooms
• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and on-call emergencies
