Leonardo Hotel Vinkeveen Amsterdam, part of Leonardo Hotels Benelux, seeks a personable host to welcome guests and ensure a memorable stay. You will handle check-ins, reservations, and guest inquiries with a service-centered approach.

In this role, you will collaborate with teammates to deliver hospitality at the highest standard, assist guests with luggage, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere right by the water at Vinkeveense Plassen. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional French/German/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Demonstrates service-oriented attitude and hospitality mindset.
• Able to work well in a team or independently as needed.
• Strong communication skills and energetic personality.
• Willing to work 1–3 night shifts per week.
• Reliable, accurate and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and provide information.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and guest requests.
• Handle reservations and respond to guest inquiries.
• Assist guests with luggage and guide them to town or rooms.

About The Job

What Will You Be Doing

You are the point of contact for our guests and provide them with all the information they need. You'll help guests check‑in and tell them which highlights they really shouldn't miss. In the meantime, you get a call from a guest who wants to reserve a room for next week. No problem, you will take care of that too. You notice that the next guests are ready to check out, so you help them immediately. You’re dying to know how they experienced their time with us. You take their suitcases, so they can hop into town before they leave. They tell you that they will come back for a visit soon. That’s why you do it!

LEONARDO HOTEL VINKEVEEN – Just outside the bustling city of Amsterdam, yet with Utrecht, Hilversum and Schiphol all within easy reach. The hotel is located on the Vinkeveense Plassen and has a relaxed, contemporary, and distinctive interior that will pleasantly surprise both you and our guests. It features 86 rooms, the unique restaurant The Harbour Club with a nautical atmosphere, a trendy coffee bar, its own private jetty, and a spacious terrace right on the water.

Job Requirements

• You are an energizing personality whose energy gets everybody you work with enthusiastic.
• You enjoy working in a team, but working independently is also no problem for you.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Do you also speak (some) French, German, or Spanish? Even better!
• You really put the guest first; you have a service‑oriented attitude and a true hospitality mindset.
• You have a great sense of responsibility.
• You are available to work anywhere from 1 to 3 nightshifts per week.
• You are enthusiastic and have strong communication skills.
• You are accurate and stress‑resistant.
• You have experience in the hospitality.
