Job summary

The July in Amsterdam is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to ensure flawless operation of our aparthotel. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to keep systems in top shape and guest satisfaction high.

Responsibilities include tuning building systems, identifying early issues, and supporting preventive maintenance programs in a dynamic hospitality setting. English fluency and practical problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, aparthotel, or hospitality maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and working with contractors.
• Understanding of building automation and energy efficiency practices.
• Comfortable communicating in English, both speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune all systems in a newly opened building.
• Identify and troubleshoot early-stage issues.
• Support the setup of a solid maintenance routine.
• Maintain plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, and energy efficiency.
• Support external contractors when needed.
