Job summary

QPS Netherlands BV in Groningen is seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist to join the Bioanalysis team. The role focuses on applying (LC)-ICP/MS to bioanalysis, developing and validating methods, and managing projects with client interaction.

The position requires a PhD in a relevant field, 3+ years ICP/MS experience, and English proficiency. The role may be home-based in the Netherlands to work on-site in Groningen, with GLP/GCP responsibility and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• PhD in bioanalysis, chemistry, environmental chemistry or comparable field.
• Hands-on experience with ICP/MS and GLP environment preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate (LC)-ICP/MS bioanalytical methods and assays.
• Generate research data and report results to stakeholders.
• Stay current with literature and new developments.
• Manage multiple bioanalytical projects and be the primary client contact.
• Oversee budget, regulatory compliance and timelines per project.
• Provide hands-on bioanalysis as needed.
• Supervise studies per GLP/GCP and quality guidelines.
