Job summary

Sioux Technologies in Eindhoven seeks a Software Designer with 7+ years in technical software development across domains such as Semicon, Medical or Analytical. You will contribute to state-of-the-art application software, bridging architects and engineers and owning modules through the full development cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science.
• 7+ years of experience in technical software development across different roles and environments.
• Last 4–5 years working in technical domains such as Semicon, Medical or Analytical.
• Experience with at least two of: C#, C++, or JAVA.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, UML, Agile; eager to apply these in daily work.
• Nice to have: coaching juniors or willingness to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating creative skills during the conceptual phase and translating requirements into concepts.
• Bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.
• Take responsibility for a module/sub-system through the full software development cycle.
• Coach and mentor a team of (senior) engineers.

As a Software Designer C#/C++/JAVA, you develop state-of-the-art application software for challenging high-tech projects.
In this role, you support our customers with user-friendly, high-quality, and cost-effici​ent application software. In the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your software expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, like operating equipment, image and data analysis, process management and providing insight into large data sets.

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
• You have 7+ years of experience in technical software development across different roles and (product) environments and / or projects
• You have spent the last 4-5 years working within technical domains such as Semicon, Medical or Analytical.
