KEMA Labs is seeking a Field Test Engineer to lead testing of high-voltage equipment up to 400 kV at customer sites across Europe. You will handle test design, documentation, and coordination with clients to ensure standards compliance.

You will travel extensively (Europe-wide), participate in bidding support, and join an open, informal team focused on growth within the energy transition. A long-term contract and on-site emphasis are offered.

Qualificações

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / High Voltage Engineering.
• Extensive technical understanding, accuracy and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel Europe-wide on short notice.
• Willingness to perform on-site about 150 days/year, typically 3 days a week.
• Confident handling of MS Office.
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Good communication and initiative, systematic and quality-oriented work.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation, execution and follow-up of standard-compliant tests on high-voltage devices up to 400 kV at customer sites.
• Tests for withstand stress verification with PD measurement and other specifications.
• Continuous training in applicable standards.
• Develop testing concepts, control and measurement methods.
• Create schedules and rough calculations; design test aids and setups.
• Support bidding phase technically and organizationally.
• Coordinate with customers before and during tests; prepare test documentation.
