Job summary

KEMA Labs, part of the CESI Group, is seeking a Test Engineer On Site Testing in Arnhem. You will prepare, execute and follow up standard tests on high-voltage devices at customer sites up to 400 kV and develop test methods with measurement setups.

You should have a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/High Voltage Engineering, be willing to travel Europe-wide and on-site about 150 days/year (roughly 3 days per week). Proficiency in German and English is required.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / High Voltage Engineering.
• Extensive technical understanding, accuracy and analytical skills.
• Willingness to take many business trips, Europe-wide.
• Willingness to perform on-site about 150 days/year (≈3 days/week).
• Confident handling of MS Office.
• Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
• Good communication and initiative; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, execution and follow-up of standard-compliant tests on high-voltage devices and systems at customer sites, up to 400 kV.
• Tests for withstand stress verification with PD measurement and other tests per customer specs.
• Continuous training in applicable standards.
• Conceptual development of testing, control and measurement technology and methods.
• Creation and processing of schedules and rough calculations.
• Design and conception of test aids and measurement setups.
• Technical and organizational support during bidding.
• Coordination with customers before and during tests.
• Technical customer support and preparation of test documentation.
