Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV in Son en Breugel is seeking a hands-on Team Leader to mentor a multi‑disciplinary production team across MA/CR, PCBA, SMMA, and WH. You will lead daily start-ups, plan tasks, monitor quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you report to the Unit Manager, collaborate with Engineering, Logistics and HR, and coach colleagues to achieve KPIs while maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment with two-shift operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level working and thinking ability.
• Experience in leading teams, preferably in production.
• Green Belt certification is an advantage, but not required.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks, make decisions, and elevate issues promptly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to guide people through change.
• Structured and analytical way of working.
• Coaching skills and drive to help employees grow.
• Strong sense of responsibility for achieving KPIs and complying with procedures.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

• Assigning employees to the right tasks and setting priorities.

• Conducting job interviews and selecting new employees.
• Training, guiding, and onboarding new colleagues.
• Monitoring competencies and coordinating further development.
• Organizing inflow, internal mobility, and outflow of temporary workers.
• Creating development and improvement plans with the Unit Manager.
• Coaching the team in continuous improvement and following up on proposals.
• Leading performance and appraisal reviews.
• Leading team meetings and ensuring clear communication.
