Fortaegis Technologies in Amsterdam is seeking a PCB design and verification engineer to support the design, validation, and bring-up of custom PCBs for high-speed networking, FPGA/MCU as well as Fortaegis proprietary ASIC integration.

Qualifications

• Experience designing for high-speed digital systems.
• Strong knowledge of signal integrity, impedance control, differential pair routing, and high-speed interfaces.
• Preferred experience with FPGA, MCU, or ASIC-based platforms.
• Solid understanding of power supply design, PDN analysis, and board-level power sequencing.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and lab measurements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners in designing multi-layer PCBs.
• Oversee prototype validation, including power validation, interface testing, board bring up and debugging.
• Conduct hardware validation on prototype PCBs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including hands-on rework.
• Collaborate with FPGA, ASIC, and software teams for hardware/software integration.
