Da Vinci is hiring a Low Latency Engineer in Amsterdam to tighten latency in our trading stack and push performance boundaries. You will collaborate with traders, researchers, and other engineers, taking ownership from idea to production.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in developing C++ low-latency systems for trading.
  • Deep understanding of modern computer architecture and high-performance design.
  • Experience with network/server components and hardware counters.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reduce latency by micro- or nano-second optimisations in high-throughput systems.
  • Identify and eliminate code inefficiencies to maintain competitiveness.
  • Build monitoring tools for RTT metrics with tools like ClickHouse and Grafana.
  • Deploy, monitor and tweak systems to bring projects to completion.
  • Investigate opportunities and solve problems hands-on.
