Job summary

Bank of Singapore is seeking an experienced Funds Selection professional to join the team responsible for hedge funds onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing advisory for BOS clients. You will manage the end-to-end process from sourcing funds to investment committee discussions, ensuring compliance and robust documentation.

The role requires extensive experience in asset management and hedge funds, with strong analytical and presentation skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years work experience in Asset Management/Private Bank as a product specialist.
• Strong knowledge of hedge funds and ability to evaluate investment opportunities.
• Ability to present investment ideas to a varied audience (internal and external).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; drafting detailed investment analyses is a plus.
• Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Desire and ability to be part of a dynamic team; strong team-player orientation.

Responsibilities

• Originating and sourcing Hedge Funds and maintaining a pipeline to the Investment Committee for consideration for onboarding to BOS.
• Leading hedge funds onboarding workstreams, including due diligence and internal checklists for onboarding.
• Reviewing and negotiating agreements and documentation for hedge fund onboarding and distribution.
• Managing relationships with legal, compliance, tax advisors and other service providers for hedge funds onboarding.
• Preparing internal operations process for subscriptions, closings, capital calls, distributions and reporting for hedge funds.
• Coordinating approvals from internal committees and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Supporting marketing, distribution and advisory activities of hedge funds to front office staff and clients.
• Providing advisory services on hedge funds amid macroeconomic changes for BOS clients.
• Educating internal parties and clients about hedge funds and platform knowledge.
• Monitoring hedge fund performance and continued eligibility on BOS platform; reporting and follow-up actions.
• Assisting with monitoring and reporting of hedge fund sales and revenue.
• Preparing investment memos and client presentations for hedge fund manager recommendations.
