Job summary

IQ-EQ in Amsterdam is seeking a Client Accounting Manager to lead a team responsible for processing accounting information from booking to NAV and regulatory reporting for Private Equity and Retail Funds.

You will ensure outputs meet SLAs, interact with fund managers and clients, and oversee NAV calculations with attention to governance and compliance. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience within a fund accounting team.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Strong understanding of Private Equity and Retail Fund structures.
• Hands-on experience with Private Equity and Retail Fund Administration systems.
• Proficiency in Dutch GAAP; IFRS knowledge advantageous.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Job Description

The Client Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of her/his accounting team and assist the Senior Client Services Manager and the Head of Funds in delivering terms of the Group's target operating model and ensuring a proper control environment so as to be able to deliver quality and timely outputs, in line with the Client Service Level Agreements. The team is responsible for the processing of accounting information from booking stage to the final NAV stages, the preparation of interim/annual financials, as well as preparation and filing the regulatory reporting. There may also be a requirement to be the point of contact of clients on all accounting related tasks. Being responsible for overseeing the completion of accounting activities and resultant NAV calculations for a portfolio of mainly Private Equity funds or Retail Funds may include reviews of accounting related tasks, as well as some investor communication through the fund manager, and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

About you:

• You bring 5 to 8 years of experience working within a fund accounting team, with a proven track record in fund administration.
• You hold a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• You possess a strong understanding of Private Equity and Retail Fund structures and their operational requirements.
• You have hands-on experience working with Private Equity and Retail Fund Administration systems.
• You demonstrate proficiency in Dutch GAAP, with knowledge of IFRS being advantageous.
• You are fluent in English, with Dutch language skills being an advantage.
