Nearfield Instruments is a fast-growing scale-up that designs, develops and services advanced metrology machines used by leading chipmakers. We operate in an ISO5 cleanroom environment where safety matters every day.

As Health and Safety Engineer you will build a robust safety mindset, guide production and engineering teams, ensure compliance to QHSE standards, and provide real-time safety guidance on the floor.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Safety Engineering or related technical background.
• At least 3 years in safety or operational roles within complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of QHSE standards and cleanroom protocols.
• Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment and LOTO.

Responsabilités

• Conduct daily safety inspections in ISO5 cleanroom and labs.
• Act as on-floor safety resource with real-time guidance.
• Review procedures to ensure risks are controlled and compliant.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to teams.
• Collaborate with AIT and Production Engineering on changes.
• Report deviations and track corrective actions.
