Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health Europe seeks a Health & Safety Compliance Manager to oversee a unified framework across EU/UK&I veterinary facilities. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical, country-specific expectations and collaborate with national managers to sustain a consistent baseline.

We value strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, with experience across diverse regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Health & Safety compliance, regulatory affairs, legal compliance or a closely related role within a multi-site, multi-country or similarly complex organization.
• Recognized Health & Safety qualification (for example NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
• Strong ability to research, interpret and translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical and proportionate operational expectations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with country Health & Safety Managers, operational leaders, legal teams and external specialists across different jurisdictions.
• Nice to have: Experience working across EU, UK&I regulatory environments is highly desirable.
• Nice to have: Veterinary, healthcare or other regulated-sector experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and oversight of a consistent Health & Safety compliance framework across a diverse EU, UK&I veterinary healthcare network.
• Provide clear interpretation of Health & Safety regulatory requirements and translate them into practical requirements for different types of veterinary establishments.
• Partner with country Health & Safety Managers and relevant specialist functions to support local compliance while maintaining a common European baseline.
• Build and maintain visibility of regulatory change, compliance obligations and emerging requirements, helping countries understand what needs to change, where and when.
