Job summary

Maersk is seeking a seasoned Energy Procurement leader to define and own the commercial electricity strategy for the Maersk terminals. You will drive the development of the energy category roadmap, guide sourcing models, pricing, renewable options, and hedging strategies to support 100% renewable electricity by 2030.

You will lead major energy sourcing projects (RFP/RFQ/contracting), manage supplier relationships, and ensure data-driven governance and market insights to enable growth and cost

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement/category management experience, with a focus on electricity markets and renewable energy solutions.
• Ability to translate sustainability ambitions into practical sourcing and commercial strategies.
• Proven ability to deliver cost savings, value creation, and risk management outcomes.
• Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier management capabilities.
• Influential leader who aligns diverse stakeholders behind a common strategy.
• Curiosity about emerging energy technologies and market opportunities.
• Continuous improvement mindset with focus on sustainable performance.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the commercial electricity strategy for Maersk terminals, leading energy category roadmap development and pricing/renewable options guidance.
• Lead energy sourcing projects including RFPs, RFQs, and contracting processes (PPAs, green tariffs, onsite solutions, etc.).
• Own the data and insight agenda for the category, including pipeline visibility, documentation for audit/reporting, and market insights.
• Establish and govern supplier relationship management with key regional and global suppliers, exploring new renewable energy technologies and partnerships.
