Job summary

Sia in Amsterdam seeks a consultant with energy commercial domain experience to help clients transition to the New Energy Reality. You will start at a client, focusing on energy sourcing, pricing and portfolio management, using your business analysis and project management skills to tackle challenges in trading and suppliers.

You will collaborate with the Energy and Data Science teams, broaden knowledge across grid owners and regulators, and contribute to strategy, business development,

Qualifications

• Master's degree with strong analytical skills.
• 4+ years of experience as a consultant in the energy sector.
• Experience in the commercial domain of energy suppliers or trading organisations.
• Familiarity with energy sourcing, pricing, trading and portfolio management.
• Ability to align stakeholders across the organisation to add client value.
• Good understanding of energy market developments and impact on value chain.
• Strong interest in data and AI topics with quick learning capability.
• English and Dutch communication; French & German a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, fast learner, adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Work on client projects to improve sales and sourcing financial results.
• Define reorganisational improvements and vendor selection of IT systems.
• Contribute to investment decisions enabling new activities.
• Collaborate with Energy and Data Science teams and develop the team.
• Support strategy, business development, recruitment, knowledge sharing and training.
