Job summary

Rabobank seeks a Head of Methodology and Quality Assurance to shape audit methodology and global QA. You will lead a team of 10 professionals and drive data analytics and AI integration across audits, setting standards and translating regulatory developments into practical improvements.

You will guide policy frameworks and procedures, strengthen audit quality and impact, and collaborate with regulators, management and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification as a Registered Operational Auditor, Registered Information Systems Auditor or Chartered Accountant, or an international equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience leading audit functions with significant organisational impact in the financial sector.
• Demonstrable experience working with senior stakeholders, including executives.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing digital solutions or leading data analytics teams.
• At least 5 years in roles with strategic change management.
• Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and professional standards, including IIAs standards.
• Demonstrable experience applying artificial intelligence effectively in audit.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex subjects to executives and regulators.
• Experience building, coaching and leading high-performing teams.
• Judgement to decide when to act independently or align with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Audit Rabobank's strategy and QA program.
• Manage data analytics and AI integration into audit activities.
• Develop methodology, standards, policy frameworks and procedures.
• Lead and coach a team of professionals in methodology, QA, knowledge development and analytics.
• Maintain training and professional development across Audit Rabobank.
