Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking a Head of Enterprise Data Management to lead the data governance and master data management strategy across the bank.

The role focuses on establishing a robust enterprise data foundation, ensuring data quality, and enabling compliant, value-driven data use across domains. You will translate strategy into scalable data capabilities, align data governance with regulatory requirements, and drive collaboration between Technology, risk functions and business lines.

Qualifications

• Academic degree (MSc or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Experience managing mission-critical applications and platforms.
• 10+ years in Data Management, Master Data Management or Data Governance.
• Leadership experience in complex, matrix organisations (>5 yrs).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution.
• Ability to drive change across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across Enterprise Data Management.
• Foster performance, growth and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Value Stream Technology, CDAO and business domains.
• Own and drive enterprise-wide master data management capabilities.
• Ensure consistent definition, integration and maintenance of enterprise data assets across domains.
• Establish and maintain a single source of truth for key enterprise data.
