Job summary

AstraZeneca is building a new Enterprise Cell Therapy organisation in Amsterdam and seeks a Director of Corporate Affairs to shape and execute communication strategies that align with organisational priorities. This role blends strategic shaping (about 40%) with hands-on execution (about 60%).

You will advise senior leaders, lead internal communications, and support policy and stakeholder engagement across a global, matrixed organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Strategic communications at senior level.
• Coaching executives and senior leaders on communication matters.
• Excellent writing, project management and multi-channel communications skills, especially digital.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support corporate and cell therapy objectives.
• Advise and counsel senior leaders on communication approaches for internal and external audiences.
• Lead internal communications activities: town halls, events, change communications and leader communications.
• Support policy and advocacy priorities, including event organisation and stakeholder management.
