Job summary

Toku is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead its Product Engineering organisation across a distributed, multi‑region environment. You will guide Engineering Managers and squads, set technical direction and ensure reliability of our cloud communication platforms.

You will build a high‑performing team, drive architectural decisions, and champion modern deployment, observability and platform strategies to scale our SaaS offerings globally.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering leadership experience in scaling SaaS platforms.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams and develop senior technical leaders.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices and event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Engineering org end-to-end across multiple regions.
• Shape technical strategy, platform architecture and platformisation.
• Oversee AWS-based cloud-native environment, CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Ensure production reliability, observability and incident management.
• Hire, grow and retain engineering talent and leadership.
