Loop is seeking a Manager, Embedded Software Engineering to lead the firmware team behind our hearwear products. You will own firmware development across Loop’s portfolio, shaping architecture, setting standards, and growing senior engineers into technical leaders who ship reliably.

You will line manage and stay hands-on when needed, balancing priorities and ensuring delivery in line with commitments, quality, and field readiness.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in embedded software development.
• 2+ years managing embedded or firmware engineers.
• Experience owning firmware delivery to a hardware programme schedule.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of embedded software engineers.
• Plan workforce, capacity, tooling, and lab resources to meet commitments.
• Own firmware delivery across development and sustaining work, including bring-up and updates.
• Ensure clear ownership and acceptance for factory firmware and provisioning.
• Estimate work, surface risk early, and own release readiness decisions.
